Through the coordination of the opening and closing of postures and the guidance of the mind, the internal qi is guided to be released and the external qi is drawn in, thus connecting the person with the Hunyuan Qi in nature. Its effects are as follows:
(1) Through the connection between the human body and the vital energy of nature, the body’s collaterals can be unblocked, the body’s joints and acupoints can be opened, the body’s qi and blood can be smooth, thus invigorating the body’s vital functions.
(2) This exercise method can quickly generate Qi, and the Qi sensation is good for curing diseases and improving health. It is the essence of the five-section dynamic exercise of Hexiang Village.
(3) This exercise is an effective method of gathering and concentrating Qi. Through the practice of this exercise, one can quickly learn and apply the skills of emitting external Qi to heal diseases, such as using information field to heal diseases, using information field to guide Qi, etc.
(4) Through the practice of this exercise, many external Hunyuan functions can be generated, which can sharpen the human body’s sensory function, such as the perception of flowers, trees, mountains, rivers, flags, the sun, moon, stars, wind, rain, thunder and lightning in nature.

page 176↑
In this way, the primordial energy of the sky is absorbed, penetrated the top of the head, and guided to the stomach.
Then guide all the earth energy back to the navel along the foot meridian. That is, connect the heavenly energy from above and draw the earth energy from below.
